Birmingham Fine Arts

Welcome to the Birmingham Fine Arts web site. This site is provided to highlight news and information about the Fine Arts Department at the Birmingham Board of Education in Birmingham, Alabama. Pages will be developed and updated as information is provided by teachers and administrators.

The Fine Arts Department consists of approximately 130 teachers who teach instrumental and general / choral music, visual arts, dance and theatre arts.

Mr. John H. McAphee, Jr. is Coordinator of the Fine Arts programs in the Birmingham City School System.
